We are back and joining in on this virtual world to celebrate 10 years since out first chorus|line|cabaret’s. It’s Gotta Getta Gimmick’s Essential Cabaret. Let’s create and share and get back out there… from home.

Join us on March 21, 2021 at 6pm Pacific Time to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Gotta Getta Gimmick’s chorus|line|cabaret. With more than 20 cabarets and hundreds of songs and singers, we’re back from hiatus to deliver an essential service online to all of our musical theatre lovers during these isolated covid-times.

The theme for this cabaret is musical theatre songs that are essential. We asked our singers, what songs are Essential, what makes them a service to your life?

Under the guidance of award winning Musical Theatre professional Jenni Burke and Victoria’s incredible songbird Sarah Carle, supported by producers Clayton Baraniuk and RJ Peters, the Essential Cabaret is a one-night-only live celebration of musical theatre and those who love it.

Act 1 is performed by more than a dozen LIVE Singers, featuring of some of the most famous works in the canon alongside fan favourites and unknown treasures. Hosted by GGG’s Sarah Carle and Clayton Baraniuk, we will announce our confirmed singers in the coming week.

Just like the Act 2 of the Chorus|Line|Cabaret, when the Belfry Lobby was turned over to the audience, Act 2 of the Essential Cabaret is open for anyone to jump in. No holds barred – any Musical Theatre Song is fair game. Bring your track and jump in, play Diva Tag, win prizes, sing along or sit back and take it all in!

About the chorus|line|cabaret
